Just an FYI - I've decided to crown monthly winners, to keep this scoreboard thing from getting too out of hand. So, everybody has five days to make their move. Good luck!

#1 - New York deploys it's new "fish-hook" defense. It almost works.
#2 - Prison basketball is always full of surprises.
#3 - Kansas City is so desperate for good players that they have resorted to placing traps outside other team's training facilities. Thinking it was his locker, Manny was lured in by a size XXXL jersey with his number on it, but he quickly escaped after noticing the Royals logo.
#4 - Watch this guys! If I spin around in circles, it makes me dizzy!
#5 - What do you mean I can't collect disability!? That line drive took my leg clean off, I swear! Look, I have a peg leg!

While you were sleeping

Oops, wrong Kid.After the last two games, The Big B is firing back at all the users who doubted that Jason Kidd would have success in Dallas "(cough...Viktor...cough)". Unfortunately, I would have to say that Kidd's recent success might have had more to do with the competition than with his own game. After all, the Mavericks' last two were against Memphis (14-42) and Minnesota (11-43). Step inside the Mind of The Big B.

It's Monday, and that means naterb has released this week's PAC-10 Power Rankings. Of the 10 teams, USC made the most noise, jumping up two spots to the No. 3 position. Conversely, Arizona and Washington State took a fall to make room for the Trojans. Get full rankings and breakdowns in NaterB's Junk Drawer.

With March Madness quickly approaching, almost everybody in the CBSsports.com community is trying to project the field, and the seeds, for the tournament. One user that has done an exceptional job this week is dantheman4250. In his College Basketball Blog, this guy not only tells us which teams are seeded where, he also breaks down the teams on        Oops, wrong Kid.                             the bubble, and tells us which teams are moving up and which teams are dropping like stones.

Sorry Minnesota Wild fans, we finally have another hockey team on the blogosphere. Jupiterxiii is representing for the Pittsburgh Penguins with his blog, The Wayward Son of Steeltown. In last night's edition, this member talks about the way his team has pulled together after the loss of Sidney Crosby.

CubsFan1908 breaks down the tough week for Indiana basketball. According to this Butler fan, his team was upset by the likes of Drake because of poor shooting and worse officiating. The Hoosiers, meanwhile, managed to pull out wins against Purdue and Northwestern. Oh yeah. And, you may have heard about this little Kelvin Sampson thing. Random Thoughts and Feelings.

It's time that we get down the The Heart of the Matter...literally. Kmgonz0826 dishes up a little Don Henley for today's Daily Retro Jam. For the young ones out there, Henley was the lead singer of the Eagles. Actually, I don't know that I'm helping. Wait...here we
